[Answer] Who played the Penguin in the 1960s TV series "Batman?"

We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

Who played the Penguin in the 1960s TV series "Batman?"

  • Burgess Meredith:Born in 1907, Burgess Meredith was one of America's greatest performers. He joined Eva Le Gallienne's Student Repertory after leaving college in 1929. He was a Broadway star by 1934, winning a "Best Performer of the Year" award. While he's fondly remembered for his work in the "Rocky" and "Grumpy Old Men" films, he's probably best remembered as the Penguin in the 1960s "Batman" TV series. His Penguin was so popular on the series that the producers kept a script featuring Penguin on hand, just in case Meredith wanted to do a guest star spot. Burgess Meredith died September 9, 1997.
