[Answer] Who is the "fifth Beatle?"

We have looked all around the web to find the most relevant answer to your query:

Who is the "fifth Beatle?"

  • Peter Best:Peter Randolph Best was the original drummer for the band from Liverpool that changed the world. Born in Madras, India, in November 1941, Pete Best grew up in Liverpool. He was part of a group calling themselves The Black Jacks, but they split up in 1960. It was in August of that same year that Pete joined the Beatles, on the day before the group's trip to Hamburg. McCartney, Lennon, and Harrison began taking pills to help them stay awake during the long nights in Hamburg but Best didn't join in. This was just one peg in what would become a rift between the band members. Best and the group parted ways in 1962, with the other members stating he was "not a good enough drummer."
